Having a birthday party for a group of children aged between 1 and 6 and not sure what to do? A Sesame Street party may be just the ticket!

All kids love Sesame Street. A party based on a Sesame Street theme is sure to be a big winner.

Here’s some ideas for your Sesame Street party:

1. Invitations. This is where it all begins. Make your own invitations with Sesame Street characters on them, like Big Bird, Elmo, and Bert and Ernie. Let everyone know that your party theme is Sesame Street and that you want them to come dressed as their favorite character from the show. If you can afford it, you might want to buy ready-made invitations online.

2. Decorations. Decorate the party venue to look like Sesame Street! Have a big street sign, and colorful characters from the show stuck on the walls. Ask around and get as many Sesame Street character stuff toys as you can and place them around the room.

Have a TV on display, continuously playing Sesame Street shows.

3. Party Games. Play games and sing songs from the show. Have craft or coloring in paper where the children can make Sesame Street characters or color them in.

4. Party Cake. It goes without saying that the party cake is going to have a Sesame Street theme to it. Possibly Big Bird or Elmo with a big smile.
